    The bed wasnt as big as advertised. Roomservice in the room next door at 11pm was making alot of noise. This woke both myself and my wife up. Completely unacceptable.

    Stayed at Novotel Rotorua while on holiday with family. The location of the hotel was very good, next to some of the best restaurants in Rotorua and 2 mins drive to Polynesian Spa. The front desk staff was very helpful. I booked tickets to traditional Maori meal and show through the hotel and the show was just next to the hotel.

    The room is clean and bed was comfortable.

    The internet charges are very high - $30 to use the internet in the room. Other hotels only charge $10 for the same service. Only allowed 30 minutes of free internet in the lobby then have to pay above rates. Staff were not willing to engage in conversation about this high rate stating "nothing we can do".

    i like the fact that the hotel is well recognized and the location is a good location close to the lake and main shops in rotorua.I will definitely be returning to stay in the near future.

    The service was good, free Internet in the lobby was very handy, the thermal spa in the health club was great at the end of a day. I didn't go to the hangi onsite so cannot comment on that.

    The staff at Novotel were very helpful.

    The laundry facilities were poor. Two washing machines and two dryers just doesnt cut it for the whole establishment, and only one dryer was working the 4 days I was there. The internet service is also poor.

    The spa and mineral pools were relaxing, but the hotel could use a refresh. The location is fantastic, right next to Eat Streat and the lakeside.

    Particularly good location in Rotorua, near to shopping centre, restaurants, pharmacy, CAT CAFE, bakeries, coffee & souvenir shops, information centre & Tourist attractions as well as the waterfront, restaurants, and bars. Also, right next to the lake.

    We had time to relax as a family and to swim, eat and jacuzzi too. The breakfast buffet was very good.

    While they advertised as having Sky TV it was actually a very limited number of channels.
